The blade isn't flat — it's an airfoil. Air flowing over it makes low pressure on one side, high on the other; that lift pulls the blade around, spinning the rotor. Inside, an electromagnet spins within copper coils, and that moving magnetic field shoves the electrons into motion — and moving electrons are electric current.
