Humans Haven't Left Space in 25 YEARS

Transcript
For twenty-five years straight, there has not been a single moment when every human was down here on Earth.
Since November 2000, at least one person has been living aboard the International Space Station, without a single break, for a quarter of a century.
Think about what that means. Through every election, every disaster, every holiday and headline down here, there have always been humans circling above us in orbit. Crews have rotated in and out hundreds of times, but the station itself has never once been empty. Anyone twenty-five or younger has never lived a single day in a world where humanity was entirely Earth-bound.
It is by far the longest continuous human presence in space in all of history. An unbroken chain of people living off our home planet, passed from crew to crew, for twenty-five straight years.
